BLACK OPS 6 - SIGNAL MATERIALS

Here comes Signal ! I was in charge of creating various materials to serve the global mood of the map.
Since the map is and old underwater base that is under attack with fire, flooding water, holes and especially getting pressured by the exterior water, we needed to have this heavy rusty wet drooling metal look. It was really fun to have that exagerated normals, bent metal, leaking droplets etc.
For this map, I created plenty variations of heavy metal plates for the floors and walls. I made the same for beams, also made bullet impacts, and that old dirty glass with water droplets.

For the base metal texture, I started from a material in our library that was originaly made by Jeremy Delwarte, and it was really fun to destroy it !
